Privacy Policy

FootyTimer is a football countdown timer app with home screen widgets. You select a team and see countdowns to upcoming matches with live scores. This policy explains what data the app handles and how.

Data We Collect

None. FootyTimer does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on our servers. There are no user accounts, no analytics, no tracking, and no advertising.

Data Stored on Your Device

The app stores a small amount of data locally on your device:

• Selected team preference — saved in UserDefaults via App Group so the app and widget stay in sync.
• Cached match data — recent schedules and scores are cached in UserDefaults for offline use.
• Team crest images — cached locally so widgets can display them without a network call.

This data never leaves your device. It is not transmitted to us or any third party.

Third-Party Services

FootyTimer makes API calls to football-data.org to fetch match schedules and live scores. These requests contain no personal information — only the team and competition identifiers needed to retrieve match data.

The app does not include any analytics SDKs, crash reporting tools, or ad networks.

Tracking

FootyTimer does not track you. NSPrivacyTracking is set to false. The app does not use advertising identifiers, fingerprinting, or any other tracking mechanism.

Data Sharing

No data is sold, shared, or transmitted to any party — other than the API calls to football-data.org described above.

Children

FootyTimer does not knowingly collect any data from children under 13. Since the app collects no personal data from any user, there is nothing to distinguish.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL.
